I hate barfin' bugs
Six people... ten days.....stomach flu.... need I say more? Could we have ANY worse luck? Jared is starting his SECOND round of the flu after being well for three days! Does this mean we ALL could have it again?? If so... I'm outta here! I cannot do this twice! We seem to have had a month of luck... bad and good. Well.... a LOT of bad, and SOME good. I can't bring myself to put the bad in print, but suffice it to say "that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I'm feeling Herculean!
The good things that have happened....
1. We're all alive.
2. Emily didn't die when she hit the semi head on. In fact, she didn't even get seriously injured!
3. Larry's totalled car was worth more than we thought it would be!
4. We were able to put a bedroom in the basement after we cleaned up the flood.
5. I found a couch set at D.I. for only $25.00 AND when we got it home we discovered it has a HIDE A BED!!
6. Larry got a new job!
7. His new job is day hours!
8. My next surgery isn't until AFTER the holidays.
9. My older girls put up all the Christmas decorations and helped wrap all the presents before they went back to school and I got the call that my biopsy came back bad.
10. We're all alive!

Wow, it's been a while since I've been here! Sadly, I forget I even have this site! LOL Well, a LOT has happened since I posted last, Casey is home from her mission to Chile! I'll post some photos.... We're thrilled she's back, she's already back at BYU, ready to start classes the end of April. She got a car and a job (spanish translation!) and is very happy to be home. Jess is in her second year at Utah State University and loving it. She too bought her first car and enjoys the freedoms it brings.
I'm still homeschooling Jared (8) and getting ready for Eli (5) this fall. Corinne (10) is in fourth grade at the local middle school. Emily is finishing up her junior year at Burley High School. She continues to be a straight A+ "Brainiac" ! We have a lot planned for this summer, including trips to North Dakota to visit Helen and the kids, as well as a trip back east for pageant and family visiting.
